Friendly Visiting

Welcome to Community Care Haliburton County Friendly Visiting Service.

This service is available to seniors and adults with disabilities and/or illnesses and their caregivers. Friendly Visiting is a service which provides you with a volunteer who will phone or visit your home at a time that is convenient to you.

Regular visits of half an hour to two hours per week are encouraged. Phone calls should be more than five minutes in duration. Your Friendly Visitor provides you with social contact and some support such as letter writing and small errands.
