Meals On Wheels

Welcome to Community Care Haliburton County Meals on Wheels Program.

Who can order meals on wheels?

This service is available to seniors and adults with disabilities and/or illnesses, new moms (short-term recovery up to 12 weeks post partum), and those on short-term convalescent (usually 10 weeks) are eligible for this service, and their caregivers.

Frozen Meals are in stock at our Community Care Haliburton County location in the Halco Plaza in Haliburton Village, and may be ordered by telephone or picked up in person any weekday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Frozen meals are nutritionally balanced and are suitable for low salt, low fat or diabetic diets.

Frozen Puree, Minced, Renal, Gluten Free, No Lactose, & 87 Na (low salt) meals are also available, by special order.

We offer Free delivery of Frozen Meals on pre-arranged days.

"Living alone, I keep a few frozen meals in the freezer for nights when I just can't be bothered cooking a dinner for myself. I just have to pop the meal in the microwave and enjoy a delicious home cooked meal in minutes." RC
